Motorcyclist dies after crash near New Albany

A man died on Thursday morning in a motorcycle accident in Columbus, Ohio. When the situation occurred, the man was driving his 2008 Harley Davidson on North Hamilton Road, west of New Albany. At 2:48 a.m., the motorcycle approached a roundabout, but the driver lost control and jumped the median curb. The driver continued into the roundabout, struck the curb, and flipped. The driver was ejected from the motorcycle. Columbus Fire Medics took the driver to Mount Carmel East Hospital. In this hospital, he was listed to be in critical condition and later on was pronounced dead at 3:41 a.m. Based on the report, the official cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
